Are you an aspiring veterinary student eager to embark on a rewarding journey in a vibrant town while gaining valuable hands-on experience? An externship or preceptorship at our Veterinary Practice offers you a unique opportunity to not only apply your classroom knowledge but also further your education. Through this program, you’ll not only enhance your medical skills but also broaden your perspective on the world, the people you’ll interact with, and the animals you’ll care for.
Our externship program will immerse you in a range of experiences, including basic and referral surgeries, ultrasound procedures, venipuncture techniques, client interactions, patient care, workflow management, fostering a collaborative work environment, and an introduction to the wonderful city of Kissimmee, FL and its historic downtown areas.
